Mary B. “MB” Kinsella-Topping, 61,
of Monmouth, passed away at 7:10 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her home at
Lake Warren.
She was born on December 1, 1955
in Limestone, IL, the daughter of John “Jack” and Florence (Ralston)
Kinsella. She was raised and educated in
Limestone, and graduated from Limestone High School. She then attended Western Illinois
University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
Mary married John “Jack” Topping
in Las Vegas, NV in 1993, he survives.
Mary worked for the State of
Illinois for over 30 years in the Division of Child Support Services, retiring
in 2013. She loved her showing her Irish
Wolf Hounds. Mary served on the Board
for the Irish Wolf Hounds Association and the Editorial Board for Harp &
Hound. She enjoyed being around people,
her Irish heritage, and her favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day. Mary was a member of the Monmouth Jaycee’s
for several years serving in several positions, including President and was
active in Special Olympics.
Surviving Mary is her husband,
John “Jack” Topping of Monmouth, numerous cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her
parents.
A Gathering of Family &
Friends will be 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at McGuire &
Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.
A private family burial will be in Glade City Cemetery, Blandinsville,
IL. In lieu of flowers memorials can be
given to Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
