Irene Jeannette Gensini age 100 of Galesburg, Ill.,
died Sunday December 28, 2014 at 7:01 AM at her home.
She was born September 23, 1914 in Granville, Ill.,
the daughter of Will and Hazel Mae Stewartson Kibble. She married Edward E. Gensini
in Granville, Ill. on September 2, 1937. He preceded her in death April 1,
1980.
Irene is survived by one son Neal Edward Gensini of
Galesburg, two daughters Mari Onalee (Alan) Robinson of Estherville, Ia., and
Jeannine (David) Mace of Tampa, Fl., three grandchildren Jeffrey Alan (Trisha)
Robinson, Susan Farrell, and Megan (John) Gibbs, six great grandchildren
Reagan, Grace, and Bryan Farrell, Madelyn, Meredith, and Monica Gibbs.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband,
and one brother William Kibble.
She graduated from Granville High School in 1933
and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the
Friendship Class of the church, Royal Neighbors of America, and the Eastern
Star. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her family.
Visiatation will be from 10-11 AM Saturday January
3, 2015 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel Galesburg. Graveside services will be
at 2:30 PM Saturday at Granville Cemetery in Granville, Ill. with Rev. James
Ecklund officiating. Fellowship will follow the graveside service at the United
Methodist Church in Hennepin, Ill. Memorials may be made to the First
Presbyterian Church in Galesburg or the Putnam County Historical Society in
