Frank Allen Delost, 77, of Knoxville, died at 3:05 p.m.
Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg.
Frank was born August 20, 1937 in Canton, the son of Frank
J. and Anna Viano Delost. He is survived
by two sisters, Mary (Ron) Swanson of Galesburg and Helen (Art) Rodrig of
Princeton; one nephew; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from Knoxville High School and Bradley
University. He served in the US
Army. While in the Army he graduated
from US Armor School in For Knox, KY and was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany. Frank worked for 15 years at a GM facility;
and then worked for 30 years at Maytag, retiring in 1989. He was also farmed in Knoxville for over 60
years. He also enjoyed working on farm
machinery. Frank was a member of Corpus
Christi Catholic Church, Galesburg.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Watson-Thomas
Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral
home. Private family burial will be in
Ferguson Cemetery, Orange Twp. The
family requests memorial donations be made to the Agriculture Department at
Knoxville High School. Expressions of
