Kylie A. Blickem, 24, of
Wataga, died Tuesday afternoon in rural Knox County.
She is survived by the love
of her life, Logan Johnson of Wataga; Logan’s parents, Edwin and Lisa Johnson;
special niece and nephew, Kynley and Tyler Johnson; her parents, Travis and
Tammie Billings of Wataga; three sisters, Chloie (and Cody) Unger of Peoria,
Kelsey Rogers of Galesburg, and Aaliyah Lynch of Knoxville; her grandmother,
Ruth Ann “Grandma Annie” Blickem of Galesburg; her aunt, Lorrie (and Kevin)
Lawson of Henderson, Nevada; her cousin, Samantha (and Anthony) Butler and
their children, Nathaniel, Josiah, and Noah; her cousin, Shanie Lawson (and
Travis Aaron); her dog babies, Code and Duke; and many other extended family members
and friends. She was preceded in death
by Little Grandpa Joe.
Kylie graduated from ROWVA
High School and from Blackhawk School of Nursing in December 2014 with her RN. Kylie loved school and while at Blackhawk,
she was a tutor and an ambassador. She
received her nursing certificate on Monday, February 9, 2015.
Kylie was an outdoors girl,
enjoying four wheeling, mud racing, riding in big trucks, and gardening. She also enjoyed her dogs and spending time
with her family. Kylie loved taking care
of people while living, and in death she continues her caring ways by being an
organ and tissue donor. She will always
be loved and missed.
Visitation will be 2 to 4
p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg
Chapel. Cremation will be accorded
following the visitation. Memorial
contributions may be directed to the family.
