Marie H. Walker

Marie H.  Walker, 81 of Roseville, IL went home April 3, 2015 at 4:35 a.m. at Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center to celebrate with the risen Lord Jesus Christ during this Easter season. She was born December 18, 1933 in rural Roseville the daughter of Cornelius and Hazel Lofftus Corzatt.  She married Richard Walker June 16, 1953 at the Roseville United Methodist Church.

Our Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend is survived by her husband of 61 years Richard Walker of Roseville; daughter Tina Walker of Monmouth, Il; son Roger (Susan) Walker of Dallas GA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Walker of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Stephen ( Julia) Walker of Carrollton, GA, David Walker of Tampa FL, Naavah Walker and great grandson Gideon Walker of Jerusalem, Israel, Alyssa Snyder of Kennesaw, GA, Matthew Synder of Acworth, GA, Patrick (Courtney) Synder  and great grandsons Sawyer and Maddux Synder of Villa Rica, GA.  One sister Evelyn Shimmin of Roseville, IL, two sister in laws Patricia Downs of West Des Moines, IA and Erva Corzatt of Roseville, IL, One bother in law Clyde Kneen of Roseville, IL, also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Kneen, brother Max Corzatt and grandson Matthew Walker.

Marie was raised and educated in Roseville.  She was a housewife helping her husband farm for many years.  She enjoyed sewing and crafts.  She liked working on family genealogy.  She was a member of Shepard Gate Foursquare Church in Macomb.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family-Hoover Hall Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL. Visitation will be held Friday evening April 10, 2015 at the Roseville Community Center from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following the Service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Roseville Community Center, Harbor Light Hospice, and or Shepard Gate Foursquare Church.  Online condolences may be made at www.hooverhall.com.
