Alice L. Young, 75, of Roseville, Illinois passed away at 7:55 PM Sunday June 21, 2015 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 23, 1940 in Mt. Ayre, Iowa to Fred and Opal Adkisson; she married Leo Young on Nov. 30, 1974. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Billy and David Carr and a grandson Billy Carr.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Christner of Roseville, Illinois; 2 grandchildren, David and Billy Carr; 3 brothers, Bob Adkisson of Roseville, Illinois, Richard Adkisson of Shenandoah, Iowa, Roland Adkisson of Biggsville, Illinois and 2 sisters Juanita Saville, of Phoenix, Arizona and Charlene Chubick of Roseville.
She was a member of the Roseville Christian Church.
Graveside services will be at 1 PM Thursday June 25, 2015 at Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jack Wingate will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday June 24, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the Corman Memorial Home in Roseville. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Roseville Christian Church.
