Evelyn Rodgers

Evelyn Rodgers, 86, of Roseville, IL passed away Wednesday June 24, 2015, 10:15 pm at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center Roseville, IL. She was born on Monday November 26, 1928 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Chester and Maude Kissick Parsons. She married Leland Rodgers on April 4, 1948, at the Roseville Christian Church Roseville, IL.

She is survived by her husband of Roseville, IL; one daughter Jane (Randy) Hinderliter; one grandson Joseph Hinderliter; one granddaughter Brandy (Mike) Reber; 3 great grandsons Chaz, Cruz, and Casen; six sisters Carol Mahoney, Lila Taylor, Blanche Holmes, Alice Hollingsworth, Frannie McCormick, and Linda Walker; one brother Harold Parsons; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son (Michael Rodgers), 3 brothers (Norman, Charles, and Raymond Parsons) and 1 sister (Susan McGann).

She was a member of the OSF Holy Family Medical Center Auxiliary for over 50 years. She was a member of the Roseville Woman’s Club and a member of the Roseville Christian Church. She enjoyed playing golf at Gibson Woods in Monmouth, IL.

Funeral service will be Sunday June 28, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Roseville Christian Church Roseville, IL, where Rev’s James Oliver and Jack Wingate will be officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery.
