Reva Mae Granberg

Mrs. Reva Mae Granberg, 92, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 9:45 am Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 5, 1923 in Oneida, Illinois the daughter of Orville and Imajean E. Magee Jordan. She married Paul V. Granberg in May 29, 1941 in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1993.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Valerie Frieson and Phillip Granberg; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha (and Darrel) Devlin of Galesburg and Connie Green of Abingdon, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Hanson of Galesburg and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son, Monty P. Granberg; one brother, Larry Hurr and her sister, Betty Larson.

Reva worked as a hairdresser. She graduated from Oneida High School. 

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at East Linwood Cemetery. Rev. Jim Ecklund will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
