Mrs. Annabell Hoots, 86 of
Galesburg, Illinos died Monday February 22, 2016 at 2:00 a.m. at her home.
She was born January 7, 1930
in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Lee and Laura Frances Shaw Daulton. She
married Neil E. Hoots on October 20, 1951 in Galesburg. He preceded her in
death December 17, 1994.
Annabell is survived by two
sons, Charles E. and (Gayle) Hoots of Galesburg and Rick and (Marcia) Hoots of
Davenport, Iowa, ten grandchildren, Natomi Hoots, Destan Hoots, Christopher
Deets, Nicole Deets, Missy Ann Hoots, Raylyn Allen, Renee Mitchell, Alex
Mitchell, Nick Steinbaugh, Amy Kline, six great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by
her parents, husband, one daughter Melody Roman, and one brother Charles J. Daulton.
She graduated from
Indianapolis High School and Carl Sandburg College. She was an LPN at the Knox
County Nursing Home for several years. She was a loving mother and very devoted
to her family.
Funeral service will be 10
a.m. Saturday February 27, 2016 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with
Rev. Gary Bryan officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at
the chapel. Burial will be in Linwood
