Marie E. Degitz age 94 of Macomb, IL passed away on Monday March 1, 2016 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb, IL. She was born on February 10, 1922 in Quincy, IL to Alois and Thecla Mueller Schulte. She married Donald W. Degitz on February 7, 1948 in Quincy, IL and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2002. Marie is survived by 1 Son and 1 Daughter – William (Judi) Degitz of Astoria, IL, Alice (Carl) Rhoads of Bushnell, IL, 1 Son-in-law Burton Brown of Avon, IL, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Sisters, 10 Brothers, and 1 Daughter (Rose Brown).
Marie was a member of the First Christian Church of Macomb.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL with Pastor Kelly Ingersoll officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the time of services at the Funeral Home on Saturday. Burial will be in the Bushnell Cemetery.
