Maryann Gall

Maryann Gall, age 80, of Stronghurst, Illinois passed away at 9:10 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab Center in Stronghurst, IL. Maryann was born on May 14, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clarence and Alberta (Bishop) Stone. She attended schools in the Greyville and Peoria areas. Maryann was a graduate of Manual High School in Peoria. On May 19, 1951, she married Lloyd D. Gall in Peoria, Illinois and he is surviving. Maryann began work at the Steak & Shake in Peoria as a server and curb hop. After her and Lloyd moved to the Biggsville area, she groomed dogs in Kirkwood, IL until the time of her retirement. She was a member of the O.E.S. in Washington, IL. Maryann is survived by her husband Lloyd, two sons; Rick (Trudy) Gall of Biggsville, IL and Marty (Annette Remick) Gall of Burlington, IA. Three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one grandson.

A graveside memorial service is planned for 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Biggsville Township Cemetery. Cremation is being accorded.
