Dean Ivan Williams, age 65, of Ames, Iowa,
formerly of Knoxville, Illinois died on Thursday, April 14, 1916 at Israel
Family Hospice House.
Dean was born on September 22, 1950 in Galesburg,
Illinois the son of Royce I. and Edna Mae Roberts Williams. He attended and
graduated from Knoxville High School.
Surviving are two brothers: Roger L. (Susie)
Williams of Knoxville, Illinois and Larry G. (Michelle) Williams of Puyallup,
Washington; Sister-in-law: Cynthia Williams of Knoxville, Illinois; two nieces,
Stacey and Sarah; two nephews, Shannon and Royce; one great niece, Trista and
one great nephew, Cody and Austin; and many cousins. He was preceded in death
by his parents, one sister, Marjorie, one brother Jay, one nephew, Troy and his
best friend, Wayne Stephenson.
He was a heavy equipment operator, truck
driver, working construction and landscaping. He owned his own lawn care and
snow removal company. He enjoyed motorcycles, playing pool, guns, his pets and
watching T.V.
Visitation from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. on
Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in
Knoxville, Illinois. Cremation Rites will be accorded and a private inurnment
will be held at the Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, Illinois. In-lieu of
flowers memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences and sympathy
