Jaden Carter Lester

Jaden Carter Lester age 6 of Galesburg, Ill., died Thursday September 15, 2016 at 4:23 a.m. at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

He was born May 25, 2010 in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Rickie Lester and Jessica Woolsey.

He is survived by his parents Jessica and Rickie, his paternal grandmother Vickie Lester, brother Cadence Johnson, sister Jordan Lester, Uncle Asa and Kara Woolsey, Uncle Robert Lester, and Uncle Jeremy and Toby Lester, Aunt Shelly and Joe Mitchell , Grandma Sheri Yelm and his adopted grandparents Edie and Oletha Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Norman Lester, and maternal grandparents Carter and Kristie Woolsey.

Jaden was a student at Steele School where he was a Super Star. The four things he loved was 1. Food, 2. Bikes, 3. Meeting and helping people, and 4. “Oh yes” his mom and dad (According to Jaden). He knew everyone in the neighborhood and sometime crashed a few parties. He always told his parents that when he grew up he wanted to get married, have a boy and a girl, a dog and a cat, and wanted to go to the moon.

Jaden was very inquisitive and question everything. He will be missed and never forgotten.

Cremation will be accorded. A Celebration of His Life will be Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 4 to 10 p.m. at his home at 613 W. First St.. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com..
