James L. Willis

James L. Willis, 70, of Roseville, IL passed away Monday September 19, 2016, 10:50 a.m. at the Heartland Healthcare Center Galesburg, IL.  He was born Monday July 8, 1946, in Macomb, IL the son of James F. and Eileen B. (Birdsall) Willis.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Kimberly Pearce; grandchildren Charles and Bradley Pearce, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters (Betty Schisler, Beverly Goff and Sandy Campagna).

After graduation James went in the military.  He served in the US Army from 1966-1968 during the Vietnam Conflict.  He owned and operated Jim’s Barbershop and worked construction doing window repairs.

Cremation rites have been accorded, graveside service will be Friday September 30, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at the Salem Cemetery Roseville, IL, with a celebration of life to follow at Homers House Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made in his memory.  Wise Family Hoover Hall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
