Constance Earlene Yardley Kohl

Constance Earlene Yardley Kohl, 70, of Galesburg, died at 5:18 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, surrounded by her daughter and loving family.
Earlene was born March 1, 1946 in Chillicothe, MO.  After graduating high school she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree and worked as an LPN while living in Missouri.  After she moved to Galesburg, Earline had a 30 year career at Maytag, retiring in 2004.  She attended First Baptist Church in Galesburg.  She enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing.  Earlene was an excellent athlete while in school.
Earlene is survived by her daughter with whom she shared her home, Angela Kohl of Galesburg; a son, Jeffrey Kohl of Texas; and three grandchildren, Max, McKenna, and Dakota.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Yardley.
Graveside funeral services will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, MO on.  Visitation will be at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe, MO.  No local services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
