Diane K. “Mouth” Johnson, 64, of
Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 6:07 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Unity
Point Health Methodist Hospital, Peoria, IL.
She was born January 21, 1952 in
Rock Island, IL the daughter of Harold and Donna (Ubben) Brighton. She was raised and educated in Chicago
Heights, IL.
Diane married Bradley Johnson in
Kirkwood, IL on January 31, 1970 and he survives.
Diane worked at the Super America
Gas Station in Monmouth for many years.
She later worked for Advance America in Galesburg and most recently the
Ayerco Station in Monmouth. Diane loved
to go shopping, and enjoyed reading. She
was known for her sassy outgoing personality.
Most of all, Diane loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Surviving Diane is her husband,
Brad Johnson of Kirkwood, two daughters; Teresa (Chad) Parrish of Gladstone,
IL, Shannon (Phil) Davis of Douds, IA, one son Bradley “BJ” Johnson of
Kirkwood, grandchildren; Emily, Marissa, Abby, Ceyda, Kenan, and Iva. Also surviving is one great grandson Brayden “Duke”,
and special friends; Robin Lybarger and Penny Stephenson.
She was preceded in death by her
grandmother Iva Ubben, who was a very special influence in her life, her
parents, and one brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life and private committal of
her ashes in Warren County Memorial Park will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Diane Johnson
