Debra L. Hodson, age 61, of Aledo, Illinois, passed away at 12:25 AM on
Monday, October 31, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 9, 1955 in
Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Edna (Angelo) Wheeler. Debra
attended high school in West Pike, Illinois. She later attended school and
proudly earned her L.P.N. license. On July 1, 2005, Debra married Ronald L.
Hodson in Monmouth, Illinois and he is surviving. Debra worked on F-Wing at
Community Memorial Hospital in Monmouth where she was a loving caregiver to the
many people she served. She was always willing offer a compassionate hand to
those who needed her most and loved them all. Debra enjoyed flowers, gardening,
and painting. She loved her family and all of God's creation. Debra is survived
by her husband Ron, one son, Jeff (Phyllis) Brown of Monmouth, IL, three
granddaughters; Kristin Brown, Jessica Moulden, and Hannah Brown, all of
Monmouth, IL, one grandson, Jeffrey Brown of Monmouth, IL, and three
great-grandchildren, Brody and Kade Smyers and Aleah Moulden. She is preceded in
death by her parents and one sister, Connie Winningham.
A graveside funeral service is planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, November 4,
2016 at Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth, Illinois. In lieu of flowers,
