Donna L. Jones Davis

Donna L. Jones Davis, 84, of Galesburg, died at 5:26 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at home.

Donna was born August 26, 1932 in Peoria, the daughter of Benjamin H. and Malina E. Edwards Binegar. She married Sgt. Paul E. Jones on January 13, 1950 in Peoria. She later married Robert L. Davis. Donna is survived by one son, Donald (Pamela) Jones of Kirkwood; two daughters, Donna Barker-Tripp of Galesburg and Carol Jones of Monmouth; her daughter-in-law and companion, Rhonda Jones of Galesburg; one sister, Shirley Jacobson of Arkansas; 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one son, H. Paul Jones; one daughter, Theresa Goudy; one grandson, Calvin Cook; one brother; and one sister.

Donna was a home health caretaker for many years and was of the Methodist faith.

Cremation rites will be accorded and no services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the family. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
