Norma Mae Helen Peterson Morss

Norma Mae Helen Peterson Morss, age 82 of Galesburg, Illinois died at 2:15 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Norma was born on February 10, 1934 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Everett and Madge Johnson Peterson. She married Harold Morss on September 16, 1951 at Maxey Chapel in rural Knoxville, Illinois.

Surviving is her husband, Harold Morss of Galesburg, Illinois; her children: Tim (Hope) Morss of Watertown, Tennessee, Christine Morss of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Rod Morss of Galesburg, Illinois; Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She has two sisters: Marlene (Bill) Broadfield of Havana, Florida and Janet Palm of Altona, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Norma was a member of the East Galesburg Community Church. She worked as an Office Manager for her husband, at his business HDM Agri Sales in Galesburg, Illinois. She enjoyed her family and grandkids.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Interment will be at the Westfall Cemetery in Rural Victoria, Illinois. A fellowship luncheon will be held following the interment at the East Galesburg Community Chapel in East Galesburg, Illinois. In-Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the East Galesburg Community Church in East Galesburg, Illinois or to St. Jude`s.
