She was born May 29, 1948
in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of Hubert and Eileen Bollinger
Wilcoxen. She married Daniel O. Davis, Sr. December 11, 1965 in
Canton. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1998.
She is survived by her
mother, Eileen Wilcoxen of Farmington, Illinois; her children, Daniel
O. Davis, Jr. of Berwick, Illinois, Pamela (Trenton) Rader of
Sarasota, Florida, and Roxanna Healey of Galesburg; her brother, Mel
(Diane) Wilcoxen of Galesburg; and six grandchildren, Paige Davis,
Brayden Davis, Ashley Rader, Taylor Rader, Bricyn Healey, and Blayne
Healey.
She is preceded in death
by her father; one brother, Alan Wilcoxen; and one sister, Nadra
Bannister.
Vicki worked as the
assistant dietary manager for the Knox County Nursing Home for 24
years and retired in May 2004.
Funeral services are
scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at
Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Harold Berrien will
officiate. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February
15, 2017 at the chapel. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery.
