Mrs. Myrna L. Johnson, 84, of Cameron, Illinois died at 1:19 am Sunday, June 19, 2017
at her home.
She was born January 22, 1933 in Copley Township the daughter of Vern and Alberta
Tucker Sopher. She married Frederick Johnson on November 4, 1978 in Knoxville,
Illinois. She had also married Glen Boyer and Paul Reischling.
She is survived by her children, Richard Boyer of Galesburg, Todd (Lisa) Boyer of
Longmont, Colorado, Leanne (Terry) Showalter of Johnstown, Colorado; her step
children, Kevin (Cindy) Johnson of Abingdon, Craig Johnson of Galesburg, Kristine
Snyder of Galesburg; her brothers, Stanley (Cindy) Sopher of Galesburg and Jon (Felicia)
Sopher of Knoxville, Illinois; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. She is
preceded in death by her parents, her son, Steven Reischling, one step daughter and a
great grandchild.
Myrna had worked for Admiral/Maytag Corporation and was a homemaker. She
graduated from Galesburg High School in 1951. She was a member of the First Christian
Church in Cameron. She was an avid oil painter.
At Myrna’s request, cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church in Cameron. Hinchliff-Pearson-West
