Charlene Sullivan

Charlene Sullivan, 64, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 11:15 P.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her sister’s home in Galesburg.

She was born November 8, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Nadine (Otwell) Sullivan. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1970 and went on to work in the deli at Giants (later Econo Foods) on Main Street in Galesburg for 30 years.

Surviving is her partner of 20 years; Edgar “Buddy” Mesecher of Galesburg, Illinois, her siblings; Pat Traff of Galesburg, Illinois, Bobby Sullivan of Quincy, Illinois, Terry Coleman of Texas, Carla Sullivan of Galesburg, Illinois, her best friend; Jan Vanier of California, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Hiram and Rose (Garner) Hagen and parents.

Charlene enjoyed bingo, playing the slots, riverboats, fishing, and helping people. She loved her nieces and nephews.
