Donna L. Bratkovic, 77 of Monmouth, IL passed away Monday March 23, 2015, 3:52 am at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL. She was born November 26, 1937 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of James L. and Lorina Ericksen Anderson. She married James “Jim” Bratkovic on June 14, 1957, he preceded her on January 28, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter Kimberly (Brad) Underwood of Monmouth, IL and one son Jimmie M. (Amy Mesecher) Bratkovic of Monmouth, IL; one sister-in-law Julie (Kenneth) McDaneld of Monmouth, IL; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She graduated from Monmouth High School in 1956. She worked for General Telephone Co. as a telephone operator. She and her husband owned and operated rental properties in Monmouth. She enjoyed to crochet afghans, and collect dolls. She was a loving and caring mother and wife. She loved her cats and she will especially be missed by Buttons.
Memorial service will be Friday March 27, 2015, 11:00 am at Hoover Hall Funeral Home Monmouth, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded burial will be at a later date.
