Evaruth Marie Agans

 Evaruth Marie Agans, 83, of Galesburg, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Marigold Health Care and Rehab.
Eve was born at home on November 13, 1931 in Persifer Twp, Knox Co., IL the daughter of Bert W. and Della May Warley Kasparie.  She married Bob Agans and they had one daughter, Debbie. Eve is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Jim) Dodson of Mackinaw.  Eve’s life was centered around her daughter and her three grandchildren, Nathan, Adam and Zachary Dodson.  Eve has two sisters, Naomi Kelso of Dahinda and Delores Gough of Knoxville; four brothers, Gus (Sylvia ) Kasparie of Ft. Myers, FL, the late Marion “Casper” (Sarah) Kasparie; the late Glenn Kasparie, and the late John Lewis Kasparie.
Eve worked at OMC Gale Products for 28 years until their closure.  She later worked for the Pump and Park it Market.  In her early years, she was a member of the Motormaids of America and rode in parades including the big parade of Daytona, FL.  She enjoyed bow hunting and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family atwww.watsonthomas.com.
