Patricia Nelson Isherwood, 85, Galesburg, Illinois died at 11:20 P.M. Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her home.
Patricia was born on August 22, 1929 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Buremister Nelson. She married Richard Isherwood on February 11, 1965 in Las Vegas, NV.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard Isherwood Galesburg; six children, Connie Kristine (Wendel) Byerly of Gilson, Illinois; Sherry Kay (Dave) Nelson of Galesburg, Illinois, John Arthur Borth, Debbie (Gene) Nannga of Kewanee, Illinois, Donna Lee (Clay) Vanskike of Monmouth, Illinois, and Kit Richard Isherwood of Galesburg, Illinois. Eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Beth (Kenneth) Fell of Oneida, Illinois, Florence Edmonson of Springfield, Missouri, and Elaine Borth of Galesburg, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Becky and Diana.
Patricia received her LPN from St. Lukes Hospital- Nursing in Denver, Colorado. She lived and worked as a Nurse/Medical LPN throughout the United States and last worked in Delevan, WI for three years. She and her husband retired and moved to Galesburg, Illinois in 2005. Patricia was of Lutheran Faith and a member of the Order of Eastern Star 235 in Galesburg, Illinois.
