Terry Wayne Darst, 61 of Galesburg, Illinois died at 4:20 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his residence.
Terry was born October 10, 1953 in Macomb, Illinois the son of Lyle and Roxie Nelson Darst. He was reared and educated in Galesburg, Illinois. He was married to Susan M. Darst and she preceded him in death on January 8, 2012.
He is survived by his six children, Terry (Mallory) Darst III of Galesburg, Illinois, Stephanie (Christopher) Seaton of Galesburg, Illinois, Jessica Yocum of Galesburg, Illinois, Steven Darst of Illinois, Ronnie Newcomer of Tennessee, Wayne Newcomer of Tennessee; a sister, Debbie McKinney of Galesburg, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steve Darst; and a brother-in-law, Keith McKinney.
Terry worked with heavy machinery.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home, Knoxville, Illinois. Pastor Jon Sibley will be officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Memorials may be made to the funeral home. The Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville is assisting the family.
