Nancy I. Bundy

Nancy I. Bundy, age 72, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 2:07 am in the OSF Holy Family Medical Center Emergency room on Sunday, June 7th, 2015. She was born on March 8, 1943 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Theodore and June (Swan) Lundeen. Nancy was raised and educated in Monmouth where she attended local schools and Monmouth High School. On August 2, 1975 she married Byron A. Bundy in LaHarpe, Illinois and he is surviving. She was previously married to Victor Laws. Nancy was employed at the I.A.A.P. in Middletown, Iowa, at Western Stoneware, where she was a finisher; and lastly at Farmland Foods where she retired in 1997. She then accompanied her husband Byron on the road. Nancy enjoyed fishing and mushrooming. She most loved hanging out with her grandchildren and family. Nancy is survived by her husband Byron, daughter Annette M. (George Shultz) Bundy, four sons; Victor (Michelle) Laws of Abingdon, IL., Robert (Tracy) Laws of Little York, IL., Roy (Chris Rasmussen) Bundy of Cedar Rapids, IA., and Tony (Jess) Bundy of Monmouth, IL., three sisters; Alice Goings of Shelbyville, MO., Sherry Chick of Monmouth, IL., and Hope Albert of Greenwell Springs, LA., and one brother; "Pete" (Katie) Lundeen of Kewanee, IL. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, six sisters, and 1 brother.

A funeral service is planned at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL. Her family will be present to receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Monmouth Cemetery.
