Nicholas Andrew Kraynak, age 22, of rural Oneida,
Illinois died on Saturday, November 14, 2015.
He was born on July 10, 1993 in Galesburg, Illinois
the son of Mike and Peggy Bennett Kraynak. He attended and graduated from ROWVA
High School, the class of 2011. He then attended and graduated from Blackhawk
East with a degree in Ag/Diesel Mechanics.
Surviving are his parents, Mike and Peggy Kraynak of
Foxtown, rural Oneida, Illinois; paternal grandfather, Emil Kraynak of
Youngstown, Ohio; his siblings, Michael (Laura) Kraynak of Normal, Illinois and
Angela (Rudy) Martinez of Galesburg, Illinois; half-siblings, Gary Jones of
Galesburg, Illinois, Gavin (Heather Scott) Jones of Galesburg, Illinois, Trent
(Julie) Jones of Panama City, Florida, Jamie Hamilton of Galesburg, Illinois,
and John Merideth of Irving, Texas; Also surviving nieces, nephews, and many
friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal
grandmother.
He worked the Bock’s Ag Repair for the past two
years. He was an assistant Scout Master for Gilson Troop 233, he was an Eagle Scout;
He was a committee member for the “Shave for the Brave”. He enjoyed the
outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, bee keeper and just started to make wine
and mead, made from honey.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on
Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory
in Oneida, Illinois. Rev. Scott Cramer will officiate. Visitation will be held
from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Hurd-Hendricks
Funeral Homes in Oneida, Illinois. Interment will be at the Oneida Cemetery
Oneida, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Gilson Boy Scout Troop 233 or to
