Jane E. McGrew

Jane E. McGrew age 75 of Prairie City, IL passed away on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at her residence.  She was born on April 29, 1940 in Macomb, IL to Perry and Helen Gingerich Litchfield.  She married Tom McGrew in Bardolph, IL on September 6, 1958. Jane is survived by her Husband Tom, 2 Sons & 2 Daughters – Roger (Mary Layton) McGrew of Havana, IL, Teri (Jeri) Boyce of Ellisville, IL, Cindy (Richard) Lock of Avon, IL, and Russell (Teresa) McGrew of Prairie City, IL, 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother, 1 Sister, and 2 infant Grandsons. 
Jane graduated from Bardolph High School in 1958.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.  She was very active in her church throughout her life.  She enjoyed her Woman’s group, card club, watching her Grandchildren in their activities, especially basketball games, and all the friends made while showing Duroc hogs and Belgian horses over the years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday February 13, 2016 at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Lyren Haney officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 P.M. Friday February 12, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. on Friday.  Burial will be in the Bushnell Mausoleum.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church or MDH Home Health Care.  Please sign the guestbook or leave condolences at www.martinhollisfh.com.
