John W. Arnold age 69 of rural Prairie City, IL passed away on Sunday February 14, 2016 at the McDonough District Hospital E.R. He was born on November 20, 1946 in Macomb, IL to John E. and Twila M. Kessler Arnold. He married Linda K. Wheeler in Good Hope, IL on December 23, 1967. John is survived by his wife Linda of Prairie City, 1 Son and 1 Daughter – Tina Arnold of Louisville, KY and Edward (Melissa) Arnold of Bushnell, IL, 5 Grandchildren and 1 Sister – Linda Robinson of Ringgold, GA. He was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Brother.
John worked at Woodrum Ford in Macomb, IL for 35 years. He was a Ford Senior Master Technician, and he also served as a caretaker at Avondale Lake.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be a visitation held from 5 – 7 P.M. on Thursday February 18, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL.
