Aaron D. Fry

Aaron D. Fry, 23, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Aaron was born December 8, 1992 in Monmouth, the son of Darrell M. Fry and Pamela Sue Long.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 2011 and Monmouth College in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English.

He worked at Hewes Library at Monmouth College while he was a student.  Aaron loved playing guitar and writing songs.  He enjoyed Batman, comic books, and reading. 

Survivors include his father, Darrell Fry of Monmouth; brother, Travis Lee (Latoya Newton) Long of Colorado Springs, CO; grandmother, Sharon Munson of Colorado Springs, CO; his girlfriend, Morgan Eckley of Monmouth; two nieces, Mariah Newton-Long, Jordyn Newton-Long; and several aunts and uncles. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, and grandfather, Robert Munson.
