Dennis W. Bjorling

Dennis W. Bjorling age 66, of rural Victoria, Illinois died at 9:40 A.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home in rural Victoria, Illinois

 

He was born on December 19, 1947 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Wayne and Betty Steward Bjorling. He attended and graduated from ROVA High School. He married Lana Jo Thomson on November 16, 1979 in Altona, Illinois. She survives of rural Victoria, Illinois.

 

Also surviving are his children: Bill (Sharon) Bjorling of Galesburg, Illinois, James Thomson and Lori of New Harmony, Utah, Michael (Angela) Montgomery of Galesburg, Illinois, Wesley Bjorling and Jenny of Victoria, Illinois, Amanda Bjorling of Galesburg, Illinois; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; his siblings, Burt Bjorling and Diane of Colorado and Dena Bjorling and Mert of Utah.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

He farmed in rural Victoria, Illinois.

He was a member of AA.

 

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altona, Illinois.    Rev. Tim Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Research or to the family. Cremation rites will be accorded.  Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting the family with arrangements.
