Frank D. Weinert, age 65 of Carman, Illinois died at 6:00 p.m. Monday November 17, 2014 at his home. He was born January 22, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Frank L. and Ruby George Weinert. On July 4, 1969, he married Sharron L. Johnson in Colona, Illinois.
Frank attended
United Township High School and then served in the United States Army
during the Vietnam War. He was a truck worker and welder for the Rock
Island Lines and BNSF Railroad for many years. He was an active member
of the National Rifle Association and was an avid hunter. He especially
loved hunting coyotes, and helped many area farmers in lowering the
numbers of coyotes on their properties.
Survivors
include his wife, one son, Charles Weinert of Silvis, Illinois, four
grandchildren and two sisters, Dixie Sisco of Davenport, Iowa and Rhonda
Elder of Moline, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and
one son, Archie Weinert.
No visitation or
services are planned. Cremation rites have been accorded. Banks &
