Harold E. Dinwiddie

Harold E. Dinwiddie, age 67, of Monmouth, IL; passed away at the Roseville Nursing and Rehab Center in Roseville, on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 5:47 pm. Harold was born on July 2, 1947 in the county of Shelby near Shelbina, Missouri. Harold is the son of Russell D. and Beulah Pauline Todd Dinwiddie. He was raised in the Quad Cities and attended it's area schools. Harold was a grounds keeper at the golf course in Aledo, IL for a number of years. He also was a farm hand for various area farmers near Aledo, Illinois. He lastly mowed grass at Tinkham's Christmas Tree Farm near Kirkwood, Illinois. Harold loved to hunt and to go fishing. He very much enjoyed riding and often rode his "Gold Wing" motorcycle. Harold is survived by two brothers, Arthur Dinwiddie and his wife, Verna of Berwick, IL. and Russell D. Dinwiddie of Cordova, Illinois. There are also a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives surviving. He is preceded in his death by his parents and grandparents and two sisters. A gathering of his family and friends is planned at the Berwick Baptist Church in Berwick,IL on Saturday November 15, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Reverend Tom Smith is to officiate. As per his request, cremation rites have been accorded and Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, IL is in charge of the local arrangements.
