Marion J. Hatch Lindberg,
86, of Galesburg, died at 1:50 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at home.
She was born October 9,
1928 in Indian Point Township the daughter of Elmer and Marjorie
(Roe) Hatch. She married Theodore W. “Ted” Lindberg on August
20, 1949 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death February 22, 2002.
Marion is survived by two
daughters, Sandra (and Tom) Milligan of Dana, Indiana and Delores
(and Rod) Galloway of Galesburg; four grandchildren and six great
grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death
by her parents and two brothers.
Marion was raised and
educated in Victoria, graduating from Victoria High School in 1946.
She moved to Galesburg and graduated from Brown’s Business College,
then worked for Illinois Power Company until her marriage.
She was of Methodist faith
and was a longtime member of Little John Conservation Club.
Graveside service will be
11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Victoria Cemetery. Rev. Jim
Ecklund will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may
be made to Victoria United Methodist Church. Hinchliff-Pearson-West
