K'Lynn Presley Laws, age 9, of Cameron, Illinois passed away at her residence
in rural Cameron, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Kay Lynn was born on May 16,
2005 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the daughter of Dewey Lane and Sandy Laws.
She was raised in Monmouth and attended local schools and currently is a fourth
grade student at Central School in Monmouth, Illinois. She is the best sister in
the world to Kaydence and is her mother's best friend and sidekick. She loves
country music and old rock and roll. She loves riding on her dad's Harley
Davidson and loved her dogs, Tahawna and Payton. She is a member and loved her
church, Maple City Baptist in Monmouth. She loves gymnastics, monkey bars, and
being outside. K'Lynn is survived by her mother, Sandy Laws of Monmouth, IL;
father, Dewey Lane of Cameron, Illinois. Her sister, Kaydence Lane who is at
home, her Paternal Grandfather, Mark and Terry Lane of Cameron, IL; Paternal
Grandmother, Mardena Tabb of Abingdon, IL, and her Maternal Grandparents Victor
and Michelle Lewis of Abingdon, IL Her paternal great grandfather survives, Kurt
and Linda Lane Sr. of Adkisson, Illinois also survives.
A memorial service is planned on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Maple City
Baptist Church of Monmouth, IL at 10:00 am. Visitation hours are not planned at
this time. A memorial fund is planned for the Maple City Baptist Church in
Monmouth, IL. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the
