Patrick R Callihan

Patrick R Callihan, age 70, died at 7:30 a.m. on August 6, 2015 at his home in Galesburg, Illinois, after repeatedly kicking cancer’s butt for more than 13 years. Graveside services will be Saturday September 12, 2015.  Family and friends will meet and depart from Nees Harley-Davidson at 10 a.m. for the ride to Cottonwood Cemetery (north of Hanna CIty) for graveside services.  A celebration of life will be held following the burial from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Thomas Legacy Center at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Casual dress is encouraged.  Pat stated that “Flowers are pretty but there are kids out there that need our help more than I need flowers.” PLEASE, Memorials may be made to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (http://www.alexslemonade.org/), a foundation for childhood cancer research, or the charity of your choice.
