Betty J. Carrier

Betty J. Carrier, 88, of Monmouth, passed away at 11:14 a.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her home.

She was born on October 14, 1927, in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Edna (Hoover) Fainter.  Betty graduated from Monmouth High School in 1945. She married Raymond Carrier on December 16, 1945 in Monmouth, he survives.

Betty was a homemaker, she took great pride in raising her children and taking care of her family.  She enjoyed cross stitching and playing bridge. 

She is survived by her husband Raymond Carrier of Monmouth, three sons; Dr. David (Jeana Hayes-Carrier) Carrier of Houston, TX, Steve (Robin) Carrier of Laporte, CO, and Joe (Clare DeFrance) Carrier of Ft. Collins, CO.  Also surviving are three grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
