Mr. Carroll M. "Curly" Livermore, 83 of LaHarpe, IL, formerly of Roseville, IL passed away at 5:50AM Friday, January 15, 2016 at the LaHarpe-Davier Health Care Center.
He was born August 7, 1932 in Point Pleasant Township, Warren County, IL, the son of Lyle and Opal (Smith) Livermore. On September 1, 1955 he married Patricia Peterson. To this union were born 3 children, David, Diane and Dwayne. His wife, Patricia preceded him in death in 1989. On November 7, 1992 he married Isabel Fox and moved from Roseville to LaHarpe.
He was a graduate of the Media Weaver High School and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the LaHarpe American Legion Post 301. He farmed all his life. He loved all his children and grandchildren, who always kept them busy going to the "next’ ball game.
Surviving are his wife, Isabel, one son, David C. (Sheila) Livermore of Smithshire, IL, one daughter, Diane (John) Kesinger of Aledo, IL, one step-daughter Jerilyn (Ron) Bennett of Carthage, IL, one step-son, Brian Fox of LaHarpe, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one brother, Lyle Lynn (Judy) Livermore of Rochester, NY.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Livermore, infant son, Dwayne and his parents.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with John Kesinger officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery, Monmouth, IL. Friends may call after 3:00 PM Monday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday. A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe American Legion Post 301 and the LaHarpe-Davier Health Care Center. Condolences may be left athttp://www.banksandbeals.com./
