Charles Arthur “Charlie” Johnston, 67, of Roseville, IL passed away 10:20 am Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center Roseville, IL. He was born April 30, 1948 in Monmouth, IL the son of Russell H. and Bertha (Peterson) Johnston.
Those left to cherish his memory are one brother, William Russell (Marilyn Sue) Johnston of Belleview, Nebraska, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He was raised and educated in Roseville, IL. He was known for mowing yards in Roseville. He was of Methodist faith.
Graveside service will be Wednesday March 2, 2016, 11:00 am at the Point Pleasant Cemetery Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the Point Pleasant Cemetery, Roseville, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at the Wise Family – Hoover Hall Funeral Home Monmouth, IL. Memorials may be made to his memory.
