Abingdon - Brenda G. (Hepner) Craig 60, of Abingdon, IL passed away at 8:54 pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Care Center of Abingdon. She was born in Davenport, IA on June 7, 1955, the daughter of Merle and Alice (Lake) Hepner.
She was raised and educated in Galva, IL. She was employed at Walmart for 15 years.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Andrew) Wheeler of Seaton, IL; two sisters, Randi Hepner and Linda Kennedy both of Fulton, IL; one brother, Rodney Hepner of Galva, IL; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Wheeler and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived with her cousin Vicky Sanders for 8 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Hepner.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Mary’s family dining, route 34 Galva, IL. Memorial may be left to the family. Stephen D. Anderson Funeral Director in care of arrangements.
