Cynthia K. Palmrose, age 67, of Knoxville, Illinois died on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her home in Knoxville, Illinois.
She was born on April 30, 1948 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Carl and Charlotte Nelson Palmrose.
Surviving is an aunt, Pat (John) Kenney of Oquawka, Illinois and an uncle, Dan (Mary) Sullivan of Galesburg, Illinois; three cousins, Danny, Page, and Stacey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a cousin, Penny.
She attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida where she received her B.A. in Education. She worked as a substitute teacher for the Miami/Dade County School District from 1997 to 2001, the Galesburg School District #205 from 2001 to 2004, and the Knoxville School District #202 from 2001 to 2004.
She loved her animals.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Inurnment will be at the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society. Online condolences or sympathy cards may be sent through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
