Pat Stroops age 77 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 9:09 P.M. Tuesday February 23, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on May 23, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Albert and Mary Johnson Larson. She married Glen Stroops in Galesburg, IL on April 14, 1955. Pat is survived by her husband Glen, 1 Son and 3 Daughters – Becky (Gary) Taylor of Avon, IL, Debra Stroops of Phoenix, AZ, Tom (Laura) Stroops of Bushnell, IL and Glenda Gosnell of South Beloit, IL, 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Brother – Albert Larson of Wataga, IL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother.
Pat was a longtime and very active member of the Bushnell Presbyterian Church, and also a member of Grandmothers Club.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday February 29, 2016 at the Bushnell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Melissa M. Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 P.M. on Sunday February 28, 2016 at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL. Burial will be in the Bushnell Cemetery.
