Dakota Ryan Tinkham, 19,
of Galesburg died at 12:58 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his home.
He was born August 30, 1996
in Galesburg the son of Gregory D. Hutton and Jessica M. Tinkham.
He is survived by his father,
Gregory D. and Teri Hutton of Marshfield, Missouri and his mother, Jessica M.
Tinkham of Galesburg; his sisters, Paige Yocum, Britni and Kasi Hutton, and
Kyleigh Cook; his grandparents, Karen Hutton of Bothell, Washington, Teresa
Tinkham of Galesburg, Susan Hutton of Wasilla, Alaska, Kenneth Saul of
Roseville, Illinois, and Robert and Debra Estrada of Galesburg; great
grandmother, Ila Tinkham of Texas; his aunts and uncles, Tina and Jason Grant,
Madeline Susitna Hutton, Bobby and Samantha Estrada, Stephanie and Chris
Seaton, Terry and Mallory Darst III, Angela Holder Bean, Zach and Alex Yocum.
He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, David Hutton and Terry Darst; and
one great grandfather, Donovan Tinkham.
Dakota worked for the Morton
Man in Morton, Illinois and had worked for Farmland Foods in Monmouth,
Illinois. He graduated from Galesburg North in 2014 and had attended Carl
Sandburg College. He attended Bethel Baptist Church as a kid, participating in
Awana. Dakota enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with
his friends, and working on cars. Dakota loved his pit bull, Diamond.
Funeral services are
scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West
Galesburg Chapel with the Rev. Jon Sibley officiating. Visitation will be 5 to
7 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the chapel. Burial will be in East Linwood
