Raymond Quentin White (Quent), 63, of Galesburg, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at the home of his sister in Henderson, IL.
Quent was born July 20, 1952 in Galesburg, the son of Vergil Quentin and Dorothy Elizabeth Norris White. He is survived by two sisters, Mercedes Inman of Bloomington and Mary Kenney of Henderson; and two brothers, John F. White (Peggy) of East Galesburg and Daryl C. White of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly Patton.
Quent served in the US Army. He worked as an ironworker for several years while living in Texas.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. Pastor Jon Baker will officiate. Memorials may be made in Quent’s memory to the Guardian Angels or to the Beacon of Hope Hospice Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
