Bradley Eugene Theobald, 49, Galesburg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Galesburg.
Brad was born July 17, 1966 in Galesburg, the son of Gary and Jean Holland Theobald. Brad is survived by his two loving daughters, Libby and Leah Theobald; his parents of Galesburg; two brothers, Brian (Natalie) Theobald of Pacific, MO and Jeff (Vanessa) Theobald of Shenandoah, TX; and one sister, Joni Theobald of Fenton, MO. Also surviving is a niece, Jenna Theobald and two nephews, Alec and Adam Kneer.
Brad worked for the Galesburg Parks Department and Bridgeway, where he grew many varieties of poinsettias and made beautiful wreaths and centerpieces at Christmas. He last worked at Soangetaha Country Club.
Brad graduated from Galesburg High School in the class of 1984. Brad liked the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables and had a green thumb. He also enjoyed woodworking and being out in the city parks. Brad loved baseball where he played for the Giants in Little League. Brad and his daughters enjoyed watching movies together. He bought Libby her first magic set where she became really good at doing magic tricks.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth, IL. Mike Dunn will officiate.
