Anita L. Pyle

Anita L. Pyle age 70 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 5:47 A.M. Wednesday September 14, 2016 at the OSF Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.  She was born on April 28, 1946 in Springfield, IL to Howard and Mary Agnes Walkington Cain.  She married J Charles Pyle on August 25, 1968 in Virden, IL. by Rev. F. E. Pyle and Rev. Gene Alsley.  Anita is survived by her husband J Charles of Bushnell, IL, her Mother – Mary Agnes Cain of Virden, IL, 2 Daughters – Amy Pyle of Bushnell, IL, and Jody (Randall) Leigh of Bushnell, IL.  She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren – Oliver and Juliet Leigh and 2 Brothers – Todd (Sharon) Cain of Atlanta, GA and Trent (Luanne) Cain of Jacksonville, IL.  She was preceded in death by her Father.

Anita taught Math and Physics and later retired as Principal at Bushnell-Prairie City High School.  She was also active in P.E.O. and in the Bushnell United Methodist Church. 

Cremation Rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 24, 2016 at the Bushnell United Methodist Church where family will greet friends one hour prior to the time of services at the church. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Anita L. Pyle Memorial Scholarship Fund.
