Jackie L. Kirby

 Jackie L. Kirby age 74 of Bushnell, IL passed away at 3:43 P.M. Saturday October 15, 2016 at the McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, IL.  He was born on February 13, 1942 in Bushnell, IL to John W. and Naomi E. Ealy Kirby.  He married Peggy McCance in Bushnell, IL on July 15, 1972.   Jack is survived by his Wife Peggy of Bushnell, 3 Sons and 1 Daughter – Kim (Brian) Frye of Galesburg, IL, Dean Kirby of Galesburg, IL, Scott (Tammy) Kirby of Lincoln, IL and Gerald Kirby of Galesburg, IL, 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.  He is also survived by 1 Brother and 1 Sister, Jimmie L. Kirby of Bushnell, IL and Bonnie Jo Lester of Macomb, IL.  He was preceded in death by his Parents, 6 Brothers and 1 Sister.

Jack was a diehard Cubs fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and he loved his Grandchildren.

Cremation Rites will be accorded and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday October 30, 2016 at the Bushnell V.F.W. from 1 – 4 P.M.  Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to J.D.R.F.
