Stephen B. Baker, 60, of Galesburg,
died at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Keosauqua, IA.
He was born on March 19, 1956 in
Keosauqua, IA the son of Charles A. Baker and Evelyn Joan Phillips.
He married Reanna G. Rogers on February 4, 2016 in Galesburg. He is
survived by his wife, Reanna of Galesburg; his mother, Joan of
Galesburg; two sons, Bryan (Emily) Baker of Puyallup, WA and Shawn
Baker of Abingdon; two daughters, Courtney Payne of Galesburg and
Gracie Hoffman of Galesburg; five brothers, Mike Baker, Steve Baker,
Rick Baker, Michael Newbold, and Monty Newbold; and two sisters,
Bonita and Jodie Crouch. He is also survived by 9 granchildren and
one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.
Steve served in the US Army. He had
been working for the past 11 years at John Deere. He enjoyed being
outdoors, whether it be yard work, fishing, or playing with Grace in
the backyard. He was a member of UAW Local 865.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No
services are planned at this time. A celebration of his life will be
held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to
Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may
