Jeanne Rowe,
72, McClusky, ND formerly of Knoxville, IL died Sunday, September 4,
2016 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.
A
celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 11th, on her
birthday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Union Bar and Grill in
McClusky.
Graveside
services will be in December in Galesburg, IL.
She grew up
in Illinois and attended Galesburg High School. She enjoyed
cheerleading and hanging out with her best friend Patricia Sparks.
She attended Bradley University and then graduated from Southern
Illinois University. She married Jeff Woolsey and they had two
daughters. She enjoyed being self employed as a wholesale florist,
and many other home businesses that allowed her to also be a
homemaker. Her favorite time of year was in the fall when she would
travel back to Illinois with her cousin Jeanine Lee to research
family history and enjoy the autumn foliage. She was passionate about
researching genealogy, so much so that her daughter nicknamed her
study "Jeanneology". She loved all animals, especially her
two kitties Pandee and Patches.
Jeanne is
survived by her daughter, Lauri Logsdon of McClusky and beloved
granddaughter Kassidee Logsdon.
Jeanne was
preceded in death by her father Eli "Red" Rowe, her mother
Irene "Betty" Rowe, her daughter Kris Woolsey;
granddaughter, Riley Logsdon.
A Visitation
will be held at 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at
Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Online
